OUR CORE BELIEFS

We believe that the Body of Christ known as Fullness Christian Fellowship should have the proper framework in order for God to best use His people. These foundational beliefs are the skeleton upon which God will build His church as an instrument for the expansion of His Kingdom.

We believe that God has revealed Himself as one God existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; distinguishable but indivisible and that He is sovereign in all He does. (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14, Proverbs 9:10)

We believe in the absolute authority of the Scripture and that the words of Scripture, as originally given, were inspired by God. (Matthew 4:4, 2Timothy 3:16; 1 Corinthians 2:13)

We believe in the teaching of sound doctrine (1Timothy 4:6)

We believe in the creation, the test and fall of man, as recorded in Genesis, which led to his total spiritual depravity and inability to attain to righteousness. (Romans 5:12, 18)

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of man, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. (Luke 1:26-35; John 1:18; Isaiah 7:14, 9:6)

We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day, personally appearing to his disciples. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 4:25)

We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven, His exaltation, and His personal, literal, and bodily coming again the second time. (John 14:2,3; I Thessalonians 4:13-18)

We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12, 22; Romans 5:11)

We believe in water baptism for the believer in order to fulfill the command of Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:37-41, 19:1-6)

We believe in the Filling of the Holy Spirit as an experience to be realized by every follower of Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:1-4, 8:14-17, 10:44-46; Galatians 3:14, Ephesians 5:18, Matthew 4:13)

We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit as given in the Scripture and manifested in the early church. (1 Corinthians 12-14)

We believe in the Spirit-filled life and the development of godly character in the fear of God as an expression of Christian faith, empowerment for living, and fulfillment of destiny. (Ephesians 5:18; 2 Corinthians 6:14, 7:1)

We believe in the breaking of bread commonly called communion or the Lord's Supper for believers. (1 Corinthians 11:28-32)

We believe that we are called to live as a His children and therefore to walk in personal holiness. (2 Corinthians 7:1)

We believe that God is a God of order who works through empowered Spiritual Authorities for the accomplishment of His Kingdom purposes. (Ephesians 1:22, 1 Thessalonians 5:13-14)

We believe in Eternal Life for the believer (John 5:24, 3:16) and Eternal Punishment of the unbeliever. (Mark 9:43-50; 2 Thessalonians 1:9)

We believe in the reality and personality of satan and the eternal judgment of satan and his angels. (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10-15)

OUR CORE VALUES

Presence of God: The presence of God is the catalyst that will change people’s lives. We desire to encounter the presence of God though the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the person and work of the Holy Spirit in all our gatherings. We submit ourselves to His leadership and value the freedom to follow Him at all times.

Word of God: The Word of God is the foundation for the living of our lives and for our destiny in Him. The Bible is our standard for instruction, belief, and practice. We value the gift of Christ-centered teaching.

Worship: Worship is to be an ongoing characteristic of the life of the church and of the individual members of the fellowship. We desire to worship God the way He desires to be worshiped.

Personal Ministry: We desire to see people walk in the freedom that Christ came to procure on their behalf.

Relationship: Christianity is in its basic nature relational: Relationship with God and relationship with one another. Our desire is to love God and love people. We value community, which includes fellowship, accountability, growth, care and nurture.

Disciple-making: We are called to make disciples and see people come to maturity in the Lord. Lost people matter to God and therefore matter to us. We desire to see people come to know Jesus Christ and be raised up into His Fullness. We want to make disciples who are fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Equipping: Each person has a destiny that can only be fully realized in the context of a relationship with Jesus Christ, the filling of the Holy Spirit, a Kingdom vision, and the Body of Christ. We value the individual at whatever stage of life they are as having worth as created in God’s image and desire to provide pastoral care and growth for them.

Family: God designed marriage and family as the foundational element of all human society. Before there was a church, a school, a business, etc., there was marriage, a family. We value the family and desire to help build strong families as well as strong individuals. We also desire to help set those who are lonely in families and relationship with other believers within the family of faith.

Excellence: Excellence honors God and inspires greatness. We desire to do everything to the best of our abilities.

Prayer: Prayer is critical to the operation of the Kingdom of God on the earth. We desire to be a house of prayer.

Connection: We desire to touch the community in which we are geographically located. We want to give back to the community rather than take from it. We also desire to fulfill our role in the city church so we will connect with other evangelical churches in our city.

Growth: Fruitfulness honors God. We want to be continually growing and bearing fruit.

Missions: We desire to be a sending church, touching our state, nation and the world.

Stewardship: We desire to be the best possible stewards of ALL that God has entrusted to our care, including finances, resources, people, leaders, and our future.

Integrity: We value character above talent.
