How do I get involved?

How do I get involved?

New here? There are many ways for you to get involved at Fullness. We've listed some opportunities below that will help you participate in what God is doing in our community.

  • Dinner at the Brookins
  • Sign up for Launch Track (which happens in February, June, and October)
  • Join a Small Group (you don't need to be a member to jump in one of our small groups)
  • Serve on one of our Impact teams (after attending Launch Track)
  • E-mail a staff member

Dinner at the Brookins

Visiting Fullness? Throughout the year pastor Bart and Kathy Brookins invite anyone currently visiting our church into their home. You will share a meal with our pastoral staff and spouses along with other visitors like you who are curious to know more about Fullness. After dinner we gather together to hear some of the story, vision, and values of our community. Maybe you are a Christian, or maybe you wouldn't describe yourself as a Christian. Anyone interested to know more about Fullness is welcome to come!

If you're interested in coming to the next Dinner at the Brookins let us know.

Launch track

Three times a year (February, June, October) we offer a two week luncheon after our Sunday service called Launch Track. These luncheons are designed for those who believe God is leading them to become a part of the Fullness faith family. Launch Track focuses on helping people discover how they can best integrate into the life and ministry of our church.

Baptism

Baptism is an important step in your journey as a follower of Christ and an outward symbol of the work

He has already done in your life.

The Bible paints a beautiful picture of baptism as our identification with Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection. When you make the decision to accept Christ as your Savior, the Bible says that your old way of life is dead, and you are beginning a new life with Christ.

Accepting Christ as your Savior means you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and that by His death and bodily resurrection, He bridged the gap between you and God for all time. If you have come to this point in your spiritual journey, you are ready to be baptized. At Fullness, our church family comes together on this special occasion to celebrate your commitment to your new life in Christ.

Membership

We believe that God desires for each one of us to be an active and involved member of a community of believers. If God is directing you to do that at Fullness, we would be pleased to have you join us. To become a member here, we require three things:

  1. Be a follower of Jesus Christ

  2. Have been baptized – or willing to be baptized.

  3. Participate in our Launch Track.

We like to joke that there are two benefits of membership: 1) a key to the prayer chapel and 2) a mailbox in the Fullness mailroom. However, we know that there are MANY benefits of membership. By aligning yourself with this church, you gain Christian brothers and sisters to walk with you through life’s joys and sorrows. What could be better than that?

Once people decide to join Fullness, we encourage them to be actively involved members by:

Agreeing with the vision of Fullness,

Investing your time, talent and treasures here

Allowing God’s presence to be released in your life, and to flow over to the people here

Submitting to the spiritual authorities in this place.
