Patrick & Joy B are ministering in Thailand to see a generational, Christward movement take place among ethnic Thai Buddhists. Currently, they are in language learning school. Recently, they have also had the opportunity to teach English and writing skills at a local foundation, which has allowed them the opportunity to build many relationships with the locals.
Join us in praying for Patrick and Joy.
- Pray for perseverance and grace for learning the Thai language
- To connect deeply with new and existing Thai friends and for spiritual conversations with them
- For God’s light to shine in Thais’ hearts and that God’s name would be known and be made great through families and communities in Bangkok
I serve as the manager of Ten Days Missions Experiences based out of Nashville, TN. Ten Days serves as the short-term missions arm of Every Nation. Our goal is to recruit church members and college students on ten-day mission trips to serve our various Every Nation church plants around the world.
As the manager my role is to handle the daily operations for Ten Days missions as well as to recruit and train missionaries for their mission destination. Since my first Ten Days trip to Baja, Mexico in 2008, my heart for the nations has continued to grow and I consider it such an honor to reach the nations in this way.
I work for Cru, the U.S. ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, an international missions organization focused on winning people to Christ, building them in their faith, and sending them out to fulfill the Great Commission. Bill Bright, the founder of Cru, once said, "If we can win the campus today, we will win the world tomorrow." In other words, we can impact the world for Christ by investing in its future leaders. At the University of Alabama at Birmingham, my primary focuses are discipleship and evangelism. Through our discipleship groups, movement-wide evangelism days, and one-on-one meetings with students, I help students learn how to share their faith and grow in their own personal walks with Jesus. Please continue praying for our boldness as a movement, my focus on my own spiritual growth, and our dream that every student at UAB will have a chance to hear the Gospel!
Michele is a member of Fullness Christian Fellowship. She and her husband, Micah, serve on the worship team. Michele is an alumni of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a bachelor's degree in psychology. As a student at UAB, Michele felt a distinct call to women's ministry while preparing to lead a women’s Bible Study. After her senior year, Michele joined staff with Cru as Part-time Field Staff and is now raising support to take on a full-time position.
Cru staff are supported by churches, organizations, and individuals who desire to partner in ministry with staff to bring the Gospel to tomorrow’s leaders and influencers: college students. Michele will be working to develop a team of ministry partners over the next several months. As soon as she reaches her goal and is 100% supported, she will report back to campus and begin serving as a full-time missionary at UAB.
